Bella Poscente is an award-winning director, producer, and avid traveler known for her compelling storytelling and global perspective. A graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder with a BA in Film Production and minors in Business and Dance, Bella also studied at the renowned FAMU film school in Prague.
Her passion for filmmaking is deeply influenced by her adventurous spirit. Bella has climbed and named a mountain in the Himalayas, toured Austria with a dance company, worked at a Maui hostel, and traveled extensively across Europe, South America, Australia, and Asia. These diverse experiences inspire her work, celebrating culture and human connection.
As the founder of Poscente Productions, Bella produces commercials and documentaries for clients such as Adweek, Cannes Lions, and global businesses. She is currently editing In My Father’s Footsteps, a documentary retracing her father’s 1983 world trip and examining the changes the world has undergone. Filmed across Australia, Asia, and Europe, the project showcases Bella's talent in directing, cinematography, and storytelling.
Her achievements include awards and finalist positions at the Bestlov Film Festival and Lift-Off Filmmaker Festival, along with selections at the Pegasus Film Festival, Philadelphia Youth Film Festival, and Fresh International Film Festival. Bella has also enriched her craft by attending top industry events such as Sundance, Cannes, and Doc NYC.
